Scott Murray is an Emeritus Professor of Palliative Care, University of Edinburgh. The Primary Palliative Care Research Group based in Primary Care continues to advocate for the early integration of the principles of palliative care in patients will all progressive illnesses in all settings. He champions the use of high-quality non-RCT evidence to improve patient care and quality of life. Scott chaired the International Primary Palliative Care Network, and advises various WHO regions on the potential of palliative care in the community.
